Growing up in a house with 2 DJs, I developed a love for music at a very young age. Being able to occasionally go with my uncles when they played at parties, helped me develop another love for the art. The feeling you get when the crowd goes wild when you drop a big track is addicting! There is a very short list of things I consider more gratifying.
As I got older and learned more about sound and music, I became more obsessed with the quality of sound. It was not good enough to be able to listen to my favorite songs. Neither was it good enough for music to be loud. Music had to sound good at any volume, especially when loud. Music had to sound effortless, smooth, and non-fatiguing so I could listen for hours. So, I became a student of sound engineering. Now I am able to listen to music loud and clear with no pain in my ears.
Too often I have been to parties where the music selection is good but the sound is bad. The DJ is either pushing the speakers beyond their limits; the music is too loud for the venue; or the music is too low and you can hear conversations over the music. In all three scenarios, the audience loses out. Its hard to have a great time when your ears are in pain or the music isn’t loud and clean enough to set the mood.
As an audiophile, I got tired of poorly sounding music and stopped attending parties for a while. However, the desire always lingered to one day be a DJ that got the sound right. So, finally I decided that I would create a company that emphasizes sound quality. I present to you “Sirene Sounds”. The name, like the mythical creature, symbolizes high quality music that draws its audience closer. I don’t expect my audience to ever notice the sound quality the way I do. I just want them to fully enjoy hearing their favorite songs from the beginning to the end of the event.
